Description:
- The Validator is installed on (or near) the entry turnstile.
- It is used as the access control terminal for public venues like stadiums, arenas, zoos, events, etc.
- It is a remarkably comprehensive device, and perfectly suitable for this applications.
- In one unit, using one communication channel to the Host, this Validator accept barcode tickets and RFID cards and optionally- other types.
- The Validator works at both operation modes:
- Barcode tickets for One Time Entry visitors.
- RFID Smart card (Mifare) is used for Full season / Members / Fans.
- The operation mode automatically change form Online to Standalone !
- At Online mode, the system has communication with central Host and central data base.
- At Standalone, the Validator use the information in the card's memory, or Barcode sign, to validate the tickets and open the turnstile- as usual.

Operation:
The Validator performs the following tasks, for any type of card or ticket which the visitor inserts:
- Automatically defines witch type of card (barcode or RFID) was inserted, and read the relevant data from that card/ticket.
- Verifies basic card's parameters internally, before sending any data to Host
- Sends the ticket's ID, alone with the validator location, to the Host.
- Receives Host commands - mainly whether to permit entry or not, but also what to display, what lamps to turn on, and more...
- The validator controls the turnstile, visitor's type lamps (total 4 outputs), etc.
- It also has 4 inputs, to collect 4 status and send them to main PC, such as:
- Turnstiles feedback of actual entry happened
- Visitors Counting information
- Operator emergency pushbutton
- Etc.
- Display information on the LCD display, light 4 LED's and sounds the buzzer.
Standard Features:
- Otot "One Slot" patent, for both types of tickets: barcode and RFID card.

- Entire system in single box: read, communication, display, turnstile control...
- The validator doe’s many operations automatically, without host
involvement. This insures simple integration- and very fast operation!
- Barcode scanner in inside the unit, therefore protected from vandalism,
and in the same time, very safety for users: no laser lights can escape out from the case, so no possibility for eye injury from the laser beam.
- Automatic change to Standalone mode, in case host communication failed.

- RS232 or RS485 (Multi drop bus) and optionally: TCP/IP communication port
- Few designs of cases to select from, according to requirements.

- ATV-xx-x : General name for all OTOT Access ticket validators
- Cx : 'C' stands for "communication" :
- C0 : None (For standalone Only models)
- C1 : RS232 (for one unit per one PC)
- C2 : RS485 (Standard for Validators which use Back Controller)
- C3 : Serial Printer Port.
- C4 : TCP/IP (standard for validators that don't use back controller)
- ATV-B-Cx : ATV for Barcode Tickets.
- ATV-R-Cx : ATV for RFID Smart cards.
- ATV-B-Cx : ATV for both: Barcode Tickets and RFID Cards.
- ATV+BC-x-Cx: ATV with it's won Back Controller. This type doesn't use Back Controller,
