Description:

  • OTOT's people counting controller, collects, analyze and display the total number of people entered, exited and currently inside in the site.
  • It can not only monitor, but also control the access, by automatic closing the gates, according to pre-set counting numbers.
  • Another poplar use is to turn on a sign such as: "FULL", when certain amount of people are currently inside the venue.
  • The controller accept inputs from any counting device: turnstiles, sensors, etc.
  • It shows the number of people entered into the site, exit from the site, and how many people are in the site at the moment. .

Highlights:

  • The basic counting source came from any sensor which provide one "entry pulse" for each person entering the site, and one "exit pulse" for each person exit the site.
  • Example for sensors types:
    • Overhead Thermal Detector
    • Infrared IR counting sensor
    • Turnstiles
    • Manually pushbutton switch
    • Road Loop Detector- for cars

 

Basic configuration:

  • The controller has 4 inputs. Each input may be set (by the customer) to be either: Enter, Exit or
    A/B : bi directional, two sensors set.
  • The pulses may be 24VDC pulse, or "dry contact" pulse.
  • Minimal pulse duration time: 0.02 sec.
  • Maximum distance from the source of pulses to the controller, using standard copper cable: 1,000 meters.
  • The controller count the pulses and display the counting information on the 16 Characters, 2 lines LCD display.
  • Optional: TCP/IP port, to be connected to local or remote PC.
  • Controlling: The controller has 3 outputs which can be used for many functions such as:
    • Turn on/off lights, at certain counting number
    • Activate "over capacity" buzzer or lighted sign
    • Close or open gates or turnstiles, when the site is full
    • Optionally, more outputs can be provided, locally or remotely.
    • The setting and using of the outputs is easy: Each output is programmed, by the customer, to be activated at X amount of people, either from the "enter", "exit", or "present".
    • For example: if your site is limited to 1000 people, you can set output No. 1 (N.C. contacts) to be activate at 1000 "in site" ("present") , and connect the turnstile to this output.
    • When the count came to 1000, the turnstile would close automatically.
    • If one person go out- the number become 999- so one person can go in….
  • The controller's keyboard is used for: (password required)
      1. Reset counting memory to zero.
      2. Changing Password
      3. Changing date and time (optional)
      4. Changing automatic reset time (optional)
      5. Setting the inputs type: entry, exit or a/b couple.
      6. Setting the output relays configuration and parameters.
